TheDareRoom Rules — Read Before Posting

TheDareRoom Rules

These exist so everyone can have a good time without anyone getting hurt or the site getting shut down. Read them. Follow them.

1. No minors. Period.

You must be 18 or older to use this site. Any content involving minors — real or fictional — will result in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to the appropriate authorities. This is non-negotiable.

2. Consent matters

Never pressure anyone into a dare they don’t want to do. “No” is a complete sentence. If someone backs out, respect it and move on. Safe words exist for a reason — use them.

3. Nothing illegal

Don’t post dares that require breaking the law. Don’t post content that violates any laws. Use common sense.

4. No personal information

Don’t post anyone’s real name, address, phone number, workplace, or any other identifying information. Protect yourself and others. Use a username, not your real name.

5. No harassment or bullying

Disagreements happen. Personal attacks don’t need to. Don’t target, stalk, or repeatedly bother anyone. If someone asks you to stop, stop.

6. Keep it safe

Don’t post dares that could cause serious physical harm. Dares should be fun, not life-threatening. If a dare involves anything physical, know your limits and respect them.

7. This is a text-only forum

No image uploads. No file attachments. This keeps the focus on the game.

Profile pictures must be SFW — no nudity, no explicit content. Your avatar shows up everywhere on the site (topic lists, notifications, sidebars), so keep it clean. NSFW content belongs in posts and threads, not in your profile picture. Avatars that break this rule will be removed without warning.

8. No spam or self-promotion

Don’t flood the forum with repetitive posts. This isn’t an ad platform.

9. Use the right category

Post dice dares in Dice Dares. Sub/Dom content goes in the Submissive/Dominant section — not in the main categories. Mods will move misplaced posts.

10. Respect the mods

Moderators are volunteers. If they ask you to change something, do it. If you disagree, message them privately.

11. One account per person

No alt accounts. If you’re caught running multiple accounts, all of them get banned. If you lose access to your account, contact a mod — don’t just make a new one.

12. PM rules still apply

Private messages and chat are not a free-for-all. The same rules apply as everywhere else — especially consent. If someone doesn’t want to receive messages from you, stop. Unwanted DMs or pressure will be treated the same as public harassment.

Receiving an unwanted DM? You can block the sender from their profile (/u/<their-name> → Message → Block) — they won’t be able to contact you. Repeated harassment via DM is grounds for account removal; flag the message so a moderator can review.

13. Don’t repost content off-site

What happens in The Dare Room stays in The Dare Room. Don’t screenshot, copy, or share someone’s posts, confessions, or dare responses outside the site without their explicit permission.

14. No impersonation

Don’t pretend to be someone else — whether that’s another member, a mod, or anyone in real life. This includes using someone else’s photos as your profile picture.

Breaking the rules

  • First offense: Warning
  • Second offense: Temporary ban (length depends on severity)
  • Serious violations: Permanent ban, no warning

If you see something that breaks these rules, use the flag button. Don’t engage — just flag it and let the mods handle it.

Now go have fun. That’s what you’re here for.

:crossed_swords: Challenge Duels: challenges and their dares are between consenting 18+ players. Keep dares within the site rules — abusive or non-consensual “dares” sent via the :crossed_swords: Challenge button can be reported (:triangular_flag:) and will be actioned. Pics delivered in the Telegram Playground are of the person delivering, 18+, and auto-delete after the set window.
