By using TheDareRoom.com (“the site”), you agree to the following terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to use this site. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18. We reserve the right to terminate any account we believe belongs to a minor.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password secure. One account per person — alt accounts will be banned.

3. Content Rules

  • All content must comply with our Rules.
  • No content involving minors — real or fictional. This results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities (see Section 12).
  • No illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
  • No content that promotes, facilitates, solicits, or advertises prostitution, escort services, or human trafficking. Violations are reported to law enforcement.
  • No harassment, threats, doxxing, or non-consensual sharing of private information.
  • No spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation without permission.
  • Content posted on the site is text-only. File uploads are not permitted.

4. Consent & Safety

All dares and challenges on this site are voluntary. You are never required to complete a dare. You participate at your own risk. TheDareRoom is not responsible for any injury, harm, or consequence resulting from dares or challenges you choose to accept.

Do not pressure anyone into doing something they are not comfortable with. “No” means no — in public threads and in private messages.

AI Features: The site includes an AI chatbot (Jinx) that learns about you from your conversations. By messaging Jinx, you consent to your messages being stored and analysed to extract preference information (such as gender, interests, and kinks). This data is used to personalise your experience and, unless you opt out, to suggest compatible dare partners. You can delete all AI-collected data at any time by saying “Jinx, forget me.” See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Privacy

Private messages (PMs) are private between participants. Do not share, screenshot, or repost PM content without the other person’s explicit consent. Violating PM privacy is a bannable offence.

6. Intellectual Property

By posting content on TheDareRoom, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the site. You retain ownership of your content. We will not sell or redistribute your content outside the site.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheDareRoom, its operators, and administrators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your content, or your violation of these terms. This includes any claims made by third parties as a result of content you post or actions you take on the site.

8. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or ban any account at our discretion. Moderation decisions are final.

9. No Warranty

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or uninterrupted access.

10. Limitation of Liability

TheDareRoom and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to consequences of dares, loss of data, or interactions with other users.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Child Safety, Non-Consensual Imagery & Reporting

TheDareRoom operates a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including text-based content.

Any content involving or depicting minors in a sexual context — real or fictional — will be immediately removed, and the account will be permanently banned. We will report all such incidents, including relevant IP addresses and account details, to:

  • Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) — iwf.org.uk
  • National Crime Agency (NCA) CEOP Command — ceop.police.uk
  • National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) — CyberTipline (for US-based reports)

If you encounter any content involving minors on this site, report it immediately using the post flag system or by contacting an administrator.

Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII). If you appear in intimate imagery shared on this site without your consent — including AI-generated, altered, or “deepfake” imagery — email abuse@thedareroom.com with: (1) a link to the content, (2) a statement that you did not consent to its distribution, and (3) your contact information. We action valid requests within 48 hours and will flag matching content for removal. Parents or guardians may submit requests on behalf of minors.

13. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Disclosure

TheDareRoom may contain links to external websites and services, some of which are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose these relationships in good faith but do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, practices, or terms of any third-party site. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be announced in Site News.
